What is the chemical composition of Rouge? That is currently classified intel and cannot be disclosed. Confirmed Components: Cherry Extract; cherries are proven to reduce pain and inflammation & have other health benefits, hence the flavor. Poppy Seeds (Opium); dulls pain and brings on a sense of euphoria Psilocybin: mind-altering drug, distorts perception and sense of time, enhanced perception of colors and shapes, && overdoses are rarely lethal. MORE LEAKED KNOWLEDGE: The star of the show is Nymphaea caerulea, the Egyptian blue water lily. In the real world it serves as a sedative with mild psychoactive properties, but it's also (tbc aaah) the basis for the myth of the Lotus Eaters (google it). It serves to purpose that in a fictional universe that revolves around alchemy, it would be a little more mystical than the norm. There's also another fictional herb called aglaophotis. It comes up a few times in occultist texts, but I don't really know the details. It's more for Doylist flavor than anything.
What does Rouge taste/smell like? Cherry.
Can Rouge be crystallized? Yes.
What is street Rouge? Rouge that has had its concentration lowered by water. Street Rouge is usually sold by street vendors wanting to make some quick cash. After all, water it down until one bottle becomes twenty and you'll see a profit no matter how cheap you sell it.
